Nicoll Davis & Spinella LLP is pleased announce the promotion of Marco A. Gonzalez, Jr. to Partner, and the arrival of two new partners — Alexander J. Anglim and George T. Imperial.
Marco A. Gonzalez, Jr. practices in the areas of complex civil, compliance, environmental and employment litigation, internal investigations and white-collar defense. He counsels and defends clients in governmental compliance and enforcement proceedings from the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act to matters relating to the EEOC and New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination. Mr. Gonzalez has developed considerable experience in leveraging his international experience, and military and technical background in assisting clients from start-ups to large corporations in minimizing risk and achieving their business objectives with efficient service at all levels. Marco’s work has also extended to representing clients in Latin America, including providing counseling and representation to entities concerning compliance with the U.S. Department of Treasury’s various sanctions programs.
Alex Anglim is a seasoned insurance litigator who has represented policyholders in a wide variety of insurance coverage disputes, often involving very large claims and/or cutting-edge legal issues. He has successfully represented clients in lawsuits involving property insurance, business interruption and other time-element coverages, general liability policies, advertising injury coverage, professional liability and errors and omissions liability (“E&O”) policies, directors and officers (“D&O”) coverage, and other types of property-casualty insurance.
George Imperial, certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, has amassed litigation experience spanning a range of practice areas, including construction, commercial, tort defense, personal injury, and matrimonial matters. George is a Rule 1:40-12 Court Approved Mediator with experience in civil, general equity and probate matters. He also counsels individual clients in all matters related to wills and estates. His exemplary public service includes tenures as former Assistant Prosecutor and former Assistant Public Defender for the County of Essex, former Mayor of Caldwell, former legislative assistant to the late Senator Nicholas Fernicola, and former Municipal Court Judge in both Caldwell and Lincoln Park, New Jersey.
Each of these gentlemen is a respected leader in his field and will play key roles in helping drive Nicoll Davis & Spinella to continued growth and success in 2019 and beyond.
